- Brownsea Island

- Swanage Railway
The award-winning Swanage Railway currently operates on the six miles of track between Swanage and Norden, through the beautiful Isle of Purbeck, passing the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle.
- Durlston Country Park
Durlston is a fabulous (280acre) countryside paradise at the Gateway to the World Heritage site, consisting of sea-cliffs, coastal limestone downland, haymeadows, hedgerows and woodland. There are fabulous views, walks, the Great Globe, the superb geology, 500+ species of plant, 250+ species of bird, 34 species of butterfly, Bird Hides and Castle and Visitor Centre.
- Christchurch Ski Centre
Everyone is welcome at Christchurch Ski Centre, from those wishing to improve their skiing skills or the outright novice looking for skiing lessons, to ordinary members of the public just wanting to soak in the scenery. Or why not try ski-bobbing or ringoing! Great fun and no experience necessary.
- Beaulieu National Motor Museum
Few car museums in the world can match the unique collection of the world renowned National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.

- Walks
The Isle of Purbeck holds numerous delights for the walker. The area is bounded to the north by the huge expanse of Poole Harbour which penetrates deep inland, almost to Wareham. To the south lies a spectacular coastline of international fame designated a World Heritage Site.
